Seanah graduated from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, BC with a Bachelor’s degree in Contemporary English Literature. She is currently working on her Master’s degree with a dual focus in Adult Education and Cultural Studies from Athabasca University. Seanah has over seven years’ experience in the literacy field and has a passion for learning, education and advocacy.

Lorena Lopez Bianchin – English as a Second Language Program Coordinator
Lorena Lopez Bianchin is our ESL Program Coordinator. Lorena graduated from Guanajuato University in Mexico, with a Bachelor’s degree in Resources Administration and Management with a focus on tourism. She came from Mexico to conclude her degree in 2008 at the Mexican Tourism Board. Finding Canada an amazing country to live in, Lorena moved to Fort Nelson in January of 2013 and now she is happy to call it home and loves to give back to the community.

Kimberly Normandeau – Program Assistant
Kimberly is a local resident who has graduated from Fort Nelson Northern Lights College with a certificate in Administration Assistance. She has also studied a variety of other courses, including natural health and sociology, and teaches yoga in Fort Nelson. Kimberly loves promoting positivity and health and loves connecting with people in the community, aiming to bring them together.

Nicole Fraser – Adult & Family Literacy Program Coordinator
Nicole is a local resident currently studying for a Diploma of Applied Psychology and Counselling through distance education at the Kelowna College of Professional Counselling. Besides psychology and counselling, she has taken a variety of courses including business management, history, and English. Nicole plans to offer counselling services to the community once she receives her counselling designation.

Chloe Forsyth – ESL Instructor
Chloe is from Hamilton, Ontario, but spent six years in Thunder Bay for education. She has an Honours Bachelors of Outdoor Recreation with a specialization in leadership, her BEd in Outdoor Education and English, as well as a Masters in Environmental, Experiential, and Indigenous Education. Chloe got to go on many cool trips because of her degree, her favorite being Dogsledding in Quetico, and so she is looking forward to the winters in Fort Nelson.
Holly Di Maggio – Indigenous Learner Support
Holly is a local resident with a certificate in Administrative Assistance through Northern Lights College. She is currently studying for a diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, and has taken other courses in English, Indigenous Studies, and Sciences. Holly has a love of education and is a life long learner.
