One-to-One Tutoring

Trained tutors work individually with adult learners to improve upon any of the nine essential skills needed to thrive in the modern world:

* Reading

* Document Use

* Numeracy

* Writing

* Oral Communication

* Working with Others

* Thinking and Decision Making

* Computer Use

* Continuous Learning

Form Completion and Other Skills

The Fort Nelson Community Literacy Society offers the following services to adult learners:

* exam invigilation;

* help studying for exams and tests;

* Public computers, where we can work alongside learners with limited computer experience to help them complete online forms, surf the web, etc.;

* Help to explain and read forms, documents and letters;

* Help completing and/or filling out forms and other documentation;

* One-to-one tutoring; and,

* Support for those taking Northern Lights College courses.
